West Coast Thrash Metal Legends METAL CHURCH are officially returning to Australia in January 2027, marking their first Australian tour since 2023 and the first-ever Australian run featuring the band’s explosive new all-star lineup. As one of America’s most influential heavy metal forces, Metal Church are entering a powerful new chapter, armed with new music, renewed energy, and powerhouse revamped lineup built to dominate stages worldwide.

The lineup features a blend of founding members and legendary metal veterans: founding guitarist Kurdt Vanderhoof, longtime guitarist Rick Van Zandt, legendary bassist David Ellefson (Ex Megadeth), elite drummer Ken Mary (Ex Alice Cooper, Accept, House of Lords etc.) and dynamic new vocalist Brian Allen.

This formation marks one of the most significant evolutions in the band’s history and 2027 will be the first time Australian fans witness this lineup live.

Metal Church’s legacy spans more than Four Decades, from their groundbreaking early albums and tours with Metallica to their acclaimed modern releases.
