Drag Queen extraordinaire and RuPaul’s Drag Race favourite ADORE DELANO finally returns to Australia!

Touring live this November bringing to the stage all your favourites + new music on her Party Your World tour!

I’m a mermaid, and I grew up singing so the humans would hear me from above” – Adore Delano

Backed up with her unapologetic attitude and the jaw-dropping vocal range that saw her reach the semi-finals of American Idol in 2008, Adore’s shows are it!

Delano first appeared as a contestant on the seventh season of American Idol in 2008 as Danny Noriega before the creation of Adore Delano was shown to the world in the sixth season of RuPaul’s Drag Race making it into the final three, and later returning for an appearance in RuPaul’s Drag Race All Stars 2.

For all the other queens who tell me I’m not polished enough, they just need to know I’m polish remover, bitch” – Adore Delano

Adore broke out of the box of post-Drag Race queens moving into music, with her rock-focused catalogue and the live tours with full band and production, proving this artist is a musician in her own right.

Delano has recorded and released four studio albums: Till Death Do Us Party (2014), After Party (2016), Whatever (2017), Dirty Laundry (2021), and returns in 2022 with her “Party Your World” global tour.

Drag Name Origin – She started as Violet Valentine, Adore was her brother’s Chola friend’s name, where she would go around tagging the name on the walls around the city with spray paint. She loved that name and used it for her first drag competition. She later added Delano and got it from looking up demonic child names and it was the one that stood out and seems to fit. Delano means “of the night” in Old French (de la Nuit), but in other origins means “swamp”, and in Spanish means “of the anus”.

“It’s been years since I partied in Australia, and I’m so excited to return with my band to play some new music as well as fan favourites from the years. I’ll see you all there!”- Adore Delano
